New Directions Pharmacy undertakes all initial recruitment procedures; including thorough background and identity checks to include:

  • Verifying RPSGB registration
  • Obtaining a minimum of 2 written previous employment references
  • Copies of accreditations and CPD
  • Indemnity insurance

All certificates can be provided for review from our clients (subject to candidates’ approval).

All registration, accreditations, and insurance are validated on an annual basis by our dedicated Bookings Administrator ensuring our clients are provided the highest level of candidate.

As is often required, candidates can be placed at short notice due to the extensive list of candidates registered for work with New Directions. On average we have over 10 new candidates register each week ranging from newly qualified to highly experienced personnel.

Locum positions are filled on temporary contract basis, providing cover for long or short-term staff shortages, illness, holidays or secondments.

New Directions Pharmacy can provide the following personnel:

We understand that problems can arise at the shortest of notice, to this extent we offer our clients a 24 hour on call emergency service, this basically means that we can be contacted at any time, night or day, and can assist you as soon as you are aware of your pharmacist shortages and the problems you are facing. Normal office hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm.

We are able to offer our highly adaptable candidate searches 24hours a day. Providing our clients with a prompt service and with the minimum amount of disruption to your business.

By gaining a large volume of information on every store we supply and passing this knowledge to each candidate prior to confirming any contracts, this enables us to ensure each booking you place is filled with the most appropriate candidate and they are fully prepared for the task ahead; additionally we also verify each candidates qualifications and accreditations at point of booking so each client is fully aware of the calibre of candidate they are receiving - View Example Booking Confirmation.

We are constantly monitoring the quality of our services and locums we supply, to this extent we regularly request our clients and candidates provide us with their feedback.
