Lloyds Pharmacy choose New Directions!
New Directions Pharmacy has further strengthened it's position as a major player in pharmacy by being named as a preferred supplier with Lloyds Pharmacy. This new agreement means that Lloyds who have over 1.600 pharmacies across the country predominantly in community and health centre locations, will use New Directions as one of its approved suppliers for candidates to fill key positions within its operation for both locum and permanent roles.

New Directions recruits locum pharmacists, pharmacy managers, relief managers, dispensers, and accuracy checking technicians throughout the UK.
Lloyds pharmacy, which is a community pharmacy has primary care at the heart of its business. This is why it has launched a range of products aimed at community health. It is also unveiling ground breaking new-look pharmacies, incorporating innovative features to create a pharmacy concept for the future.

MUR Accreditation
* Please be aware that if you have not gained the MUR (Medicines under review) accreditation as yet, it is important that you do so. The majority of our clients now ask whether our candidates have the MUR at the time of booking. To ensure that you do not lose out on bookings specific to your needs, please visit www.cppe.ac.uk where the assessment can be completed. Please read on for more information about the MUR accreditation.
The MUR is an advanced service within the new community pharmacy contractual framework. It includes medicines use reviews carried out periodically, as well as those that arise as a result of the need to make a significant prescription intervention during the dispensary process. The Directions (legal requirements) for the MUR can be found in part VIC of the Drug Tariff. You must be aware of the Directions and the requirements of the service specification before delivering the service..
The Directions require any Pharmacist providing the MUR service, to have successfully completed an assessment set by a Higher Education Institution. This must be evidenced by an MUR certificate. |
